Love of my life
I’m dreaming of a hill
With a house perched on top
And some flowers on the sill
There’s a pie in the oven
A gentle breeze passes through
The kids play in the garden
A simple life for me and you
Love of my life
I’m dreaming of the beach
A little hut near the shore
Within the waves’ reach
A hammock between palm trees
And some castles in the sand
This is our precious paradise
Shells and love in hand
Love of my life
I’m dreaming of the farm
A barn beside our wooden house
And a hearth to keep us warm
Baby rocking in the cradle
Another bountiful harvest
Cows and chickens safely inside
Our family comes together to rest
Love of my life
I’m dreaming of the city
A small, cozy space
Just for you and me
Lying intertwined in bed
While the traffic sings below
The AC blasts, the TV’s off
We sleep for tomorrow
No matter where, no matter what
Only one thing stays true
All places can be wonderful
As long as I’m with you
